The roof on the property in Nacka had aged, and over time both its watertightness and its performance had deteriorated. After reviewing the condition of the roof, we recommended a standing seam metal roof. It is a roof type with a long tradition in the Stockholm area, which today is made from modern, hard-wearing materials with a long lifespan. The result is a roof that is both elegant and durable. The project began with removing the worn-out roof, so we could assess the condition of the roof structure. The sections of roof boarding that were not up to standard were replaced, and new underlay was laid across the entire surface. Our sheet metal workers then installed the standing seam metal using the same technique that has been used on Swedish roofs for over a hundred years, but with today’s durable metal. At the ridge, penetrations and connections to other parts of the building, every detail was shaped to keep water and wind out.
The property now has a roof with an exclusive, clean look that needs minimal maintenance and stands up well to the Swedish climate. A new, high-quality metal roof is also something that is reflected in the value of the property. The owners appreciated both the craftsmanship and always knowing how the work was progressing.

It is rarely possible to tell from the ground. Moss and the odd broken tile can usually be fixed, but if the underlay has become brittle or moisture has reached the roof boarding, a replacement is often the better long-term option. We’re happy to come out and assess your roof, and we’ll give you an honest answer about the most sensible way forward.
Yes, if you own the property and the work counts as repair, maintenance or renovation. This includes roof replacement, re-roofing and most repairs. The deduction applies to the labour cost and is deducted directly from the invoice. Housing associations (BRF), however, cannot use the ROT deduction for work on the association’s roof.
With a complete re-roofing, you receive a 30-year watertight roof warranty. For other types of work, the warranty is stated in the quote and the contract, so you know exactly what applies before the work begins. The manufacturers’ product warranties also apply to the materials we install.
