Sheet metal work ranges from large surfaces to millimetre-precise details. Here are some of the jobs we carry out:

Metal moves with the temperature. Over a year in Stockholm, a roof can be exposed to both strong sun and hard frost. That’s why seams, joints and fixings must be designed so the material can expand and contract without affecting its watertightness. Our sheet metal workers tailor each flashing to the building rather than relying on standard sizes. This is especially noticeable on older houses with uneven masonry or unusual roof angles. We work with galvanised and pre-painted steel, and we match the colour and finish to the rest of the house’s details, so the metalwork blends in with the whole.
Sheet metal work is a labour-intensive craft, with a lot of time spent on measuring, bending and fitting on site. Since the ROT deduction is calculated on exactly that labour cost, it can make up a noticeable part of the total, for example with a new chimney flashing or new window sills.
The deduction doesn’t only apply to your permanent home, but also to a holiday home you own, such as a summer house in the archipelago. Sheet metal work on both roofs and facades is covered. The quote shows you directly how the cost is split between labour and materials, and we handle the reporting to the Swedish Tax Agency.

It is rarely possible to tell from the ground. Moss and the odd broken tile can usually be fixed, but if the underlay has become brittle or moisture has reached the roof boarding, a replacement is often the better long-term option. We’re happy to come out and assess your roof, and we’ll give you an honest answer about the most sensible way forward.
Yes, if you own the property and the work counts as repair, maintenance or renovation. This includes roof replacement, re-roofing and most repairs. The deduction applies to the labour cost and is deducted directly from the invoice. Housing associations (BRF), however, cannot use the ROT deduction for work on the association’s roof.
With a complete re-roofing, you receive a 30-year watertight roof warranty. For other types of work, the warranty is stated in the quote and the contract, so you know exactly what applies before the work begins. The manufacturers’ product warranties also apply to the materials we install.
