VOLUX Tak & Plåt AB, corporate ID number 559289-4363, is the data controller for the personal data we collect about you. This policy explains what data we collect, why we process it and what rights you have.

What data we collect

We collect the information you provide when you contact us or request a quote, such as your name, address, phone number, email address and details about your roof, including photos. If you hire us and the work qualifies for the ROT tax deduction, we also process your Swedish personal identity number and property designation. When you visit our website, technical data may be collected through cookies.

Why we process your data

We use your data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, carry out and document our work, issue invoices and handle warranty matters. This is based on our contract with you. Data needed for the ROT tax deduction and for accounting purposes is processed to comply with our legal obligations.

How long we keep your data

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted after [12 months]. Data relating to completed work is kept for as long as the warranty and the right to make complaints apply. Invoices and other accounting records are kept for seven years in accordance with the Swedish Accounting Act (bokföringslagen).

Who we share your data with

We never sell your data. It is only shared when necessary, for example with the Swedish Tax Agency for the ROT tax deduction and with providers of the IT systems we use. If any processing takes place outside the EU/EEA, we ensure that approved safeguards are in place.

Photos and cookies

We photograph our work for documentation purposes. Photos from your project are only used in our marketing if you have given your approval. Cookies that are not necessary for the website to function are only used with your consent, and you can change your choices at any time via the cookie banner.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Contact us if you wish to exercise any of your rights. You can also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
