The villas in Saltsjö-Duvnäs often have a long history, and their roofs contribute greatly to the area’s distinctive character. On this house, what lay hidden beneath the clay tiles had become worn, and the owners wanted to secure the roof for the future without altering the look of the house. The tiles were lifted off with care, and we checked the roof boarding board by board, replacing anything that was damaged. The roof then received a new layer of underlay and new battens before the clay tiles were fitted back in place. The metalwork around the chimney and along the ridge was also carried out with great precision.
From the street, the roof looks exactly as it should on a house of this character, but beneath the surface, everything is new and watertight. The warm tone and soft patina of the clay blend beautifully with the neighbouring homes. The project shows that re-roofing can give an older house many more years, while preserving its original soul.

The deduction applies to the labour cost and is deducted directly from the invoice. Housing associations (BRF), however, cannot use the ROT deduction for work on the association’s roof.
With a complete re-roofing, you receive a 30-year watertight roof warranty. For other types of work, the warranty is stated in the quote and the contract, so you know exactly what applies before the work begins. The manufacturers’ product warranties also apply to the materials we install.
