This house in Haninge is just a stone’s throw from our office in Vendelsö, so the project felt especially close to home. The roof has a shallow pitch, which means rain and meltwater must be led away without finding their way in through the joints. That’s why we chose standing seam metal, where each strip runs in one continuous piece from the ridge down to the eaves. Once the old roof covering had been removed, we prepared the roof deck for the metal. The strips were then laid and carefully seamed together, with extra focus on watertight connections around pipes and other penetrations.
With its dark colour, the roof has given the house a sleek, contemporary character that blends beautifully with the tall pine trees around the property. Pine needles and leaves slide easily off the smooth metal, so the roof stays in good condition with little maintenance. The family now has a roof that is ready for both harsh weather and many years of use.

Yes, if you own the property and the work counts as repair, maintenance or renovation. This includes roof replacement, re-roofing and most repairs. The deduction applies to the labour cost and is deducted directly from the invoice. Housing associations (BRF), however, cannot use the ROT deduction for work on the association’s roof.
With a complete re-roofing, you receive a 30-year watertight roof warranty. For other types of work, the warranty is stated in the quote and the contract, so you know exactly what applies before the work begins. The manufacturers’ product warranties also apply to the materials we install.
